Ministries
Webster's defines ministry as:

the service, functions, or profession of a minister of religion
And since the Word of God teaches us that all followers of Christ are ministers:
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." I Peter 2:9
Then it makes since that The Rock Solid Church would be fiercly committed to ministry.
Webster's goes on to define ministry as:
a person or thing through which something is accomplished
And the Word of God teaches us that we are the "persons" through which that "something is accomplished."
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10
God has chosen to make himself known to the world through people; ordinary people. At The Rock Solid Church we know that there are no perfect people, and we do not pretend to be. But, we also know, that in spite of our imperfections, God has still called us to make Him known to the world. And that is the ultimate goal of every one of our ministries. Our ministries are designed with two purposes in mind:
1. To demonstate the love and power of God to people through quality ministry by serving, loving, teaching and encouraging.
2. To provide believers with the opportunities to glorify God by serving others with the gifts and talents God has given them.
